General Information

Aom2 is committed to keeping your account safe. We have compiled some important tips for you to prevent being a victim of account theft or other fraudulent methods. However, if something like this happens to you, you can learn what to do here.

Beware of scammers!

Scammers use a variety of tricks to steal your account. We will show you some scam methods encountered in Aom2 so far.
But be careful! Scammers constantly come up with new methods to take over players' accounts. Whatever the reason, be careful not to tell your account information to anyone.

Fake Team Members (Fake Team)

Most of the account thefts encountered in Aom2 are caused by these. They select nicknames similar to the team's nickname (such as "Administrator", "GM-XY", "SUPPORT-XY", Aom2-XY, lGMl extensions, etc.) and try to access player information by distorting the truth.

Level Service / Task Assistance

There are also so-called helpful players who say they want to help you in difficult tasks and even level up for you. They claim to need your account information to do this.

You need to be very careful about this because they can take over your account with such a tactic.

Exchange of Valuable Items

Be careful when exchanging your expensive equipment materials or other items!

New players to the game are often unaware of the risk of theft, so the mentioned items are frequently stolen. Always ask for an equivalent deposit when exchanging these items, otherwise you may never see your item again.

Doubling Items

Stay away from players who promise to double your items. Do not give away your equipment items easily, otherwise you may never see them again.

Distribution of Expensive Phone Numbers

In some cases, scammers distribute chargeable 0900 numbers. They tell you that if you stay on the line for a few minutes, you can get free Dragon Coins.

If someone you don't know gives you a phone number, never call that number, otherwise it can cost you a lot of money.

Distribution of Hacks

Using programs that manipulate the game or provide advantages contrary to the rules is prohibited, so you will be banned from the game forever. In such programs, there is a high probability of keyloggers or other harmful content that hijacks your information or causes other damage.

Do not fall for such offers, no matter how tempting they may seem, and do not download such programs.

Scams in Internet Relay Chat (IRC)

Scammers do it even in IRC. They contact players who ask for help using the nickname of any team member and distribute programs containing harmful software or try to access your account information.
